Tools to assess and improve your website

The web is filled with tons of tools to help provide quality insight to your website. Today, I will cover a few that are especially useful!

1) Semrush
Semrush is a really helpful tool that allows you to check a number of things including what keywords your site is ranking for, where it’s ranking, and how many keywords are being ranked. You can use this to your advantage when deciding on new content/keywords for your site. This tool will also show your main organic competitors and common keywords you share – use this info to help separate your site from the pack!

Remember, growing organic traffic is good for your EPMV. Traffic sources and their quality have a huge effect on how much advertisers are willing to pay for ads on your site. You can check your organic search quality in Semrush. A ranking higher than 5 million means very few visits from organic search. Lower than 100k – keep it up! Be sure to check by country too! Organic traffic may not be huge in the USA, but could be large in another country, which is great for your site!

3) Google Mobile-Friendly Test
Have you checked to see if your site is Mobile Friendly lately? Just plug your URL into this tool to find out. If it’s not, we suggest doing so ASAP in the wake of Mobilegeddon in Spring of 2015.

Google’s tool will also offer tips specific to your site to help you make it mobile-friendly. For a general list of Ezoic recommendations to keep in mind for a mobile friendly site; read more here or consider using Ezoic to get an instant mobile friendly version of your site.
